I’m in my head a lot. I like watching people. I understand social signs and cues, when to smile, when to laugh, when to say the right thing to make a new friend. I could probably be pretty popular at school if I wanted to. I understand that to get in good with people like that, you have to talk about miniscule unimportant matters. I just don’t want to. I mean sometimes I’ll play along, but usually I don’t want to waste my breath on why this girl hates this girl, or why he cheated on her. I may understand why people do the things they do, I just don’t understand the desire to do these things.
